(New Name and WWW: Computer Vision and Media Technology Laboratory ) The Image Analysis Group at Aalborg University was founded in 1984, and today it forms the Laboratory of Image Analysis (LIA) with approx. 15 people including PhD students and support staff. Computer Vision is the major research area of the Laboratory.
The Laboratory forms part of the Department of Medical Informatics and Image Analysis (MIBA), which is one of the 5 departments of the Institute for Electronic Systems , Aalborg University , Denmark
